Provide direction and advisory management role for the organization. The board has a strategic function in providing the vision, mission and goals of the organization. These are often determined in combination with the director and team of the organisation.
The role of Executive Director is to provide strong leadership to our staff and effectively communicates Vision, mission, programs and services throughout the organisation and various stakeholders. The Director is responsible for working with members, organizations and stakeholders to develop and execute organizational standards and policies that will provide value engaging new stakeholders and partnership.
Program adviser supports the director and the team in technical areas of the organisation including environment, community education and livelihoods as well as offering technical advisory supports in areas of Organizational development; fund raising and resource mobilization, human resources, management policies, procedures and capacity assessment, strategy and strategic planning, new program development, implementation and reporting supports and any other duties assigned.
The role of the Program Manager is to proactively maintain a single coordinated effort, Professional Services engagements. The Program Manger is responsible for, or working collaboratively with other PM’s, to understand/manage User expectations, assist in resourcing project team(s), review overall project(s) goals and objectives, and develop project strategies to foster and align with the User’s long-term goals. Direct the efforts of Project Managers (PM’s) when they are engaged on account projects. In some cases the Program Manager will function as Project Manager on individual projects but in cases where geographic, specialization, or work volume dictates, the Program Manager will obtain and manage Project Managers on individual projects.
The Finance and Admin Manager provides leadership in developing business policies and procedures, monitoring costs, cost containment and procurement processes; preparing monthly financial reports and variance analyses for distribution to the organization’s Directors, and Board of directors to assist them in making sound financial decisions; strategically aligning the budget process with the mission of the association; monitoring investment and banking funds; and the preparation of the agency’s annual operating and financial statements and tax returns.
A community education head of unit functions as the head of a program designed to meet the educational needs of diverse populations. A community education head’s role is to lead the teams who are delivering education to groups outside the organization’s usual constituents as well as planning and assessment, and may involve hiring staff, volunteers and managing curricula.
An environmental manager is responsible for overseeing the environmental projects performance of the organisations.
The Livelihoods manager is responsible for leading and managing livelihoods team with the overall operational goal of creating/improving opportunities families to re-establish sustainable livelihoods through a community based approach. Participates in the strategic development and delivery of an integrated programme combining livelihoods, income and food and nutrition security to create a resilient sustainable community.
